RR Jawdropper Acro

Ya the base colors look just like the ones here.
But those polyps look purple/blue.
They look the same minus polyps. Maybe it has changed while in captivity and will not get blue polyps anymore.
Ive been trying to find an example of where polyp color can have such a drastic change and i am coming up empty. I will admit i have looked THAT hard.
Im nit bashing anyone by any means, i want the JD just as much as the next reefer.
I guess im just tryng to make myself feel a little more confident before i shell out 1000 dollars

I have a yellow tabling acropora and its new growth polyps start out deep blue and as it grows it eventually turns yellow " if you would like pics let me know!

From this picture,it look blue on top. This is a colony that some guy got from RR Canada 2 years ago.

Hi everyone Schlap asked me to clarify. So I am the original owner and farmer of the RR JawDropper. I dont want to get too involved but the difference between the RR JD and the RR Avengers is that the Avengers has blue polyps on the ends and reddish throughout and is more green. The JD has blue polyps all throughout and has a crazier orangey reddish pinkish and a little green colour. I lost the mother in a system move and I saved a few pieces and several frags that were cut. Here are some pics that I quickly shot today. Sorry they are a little washed but you get the idea. The JD has blue polyps all the way throughout...

Hey where in your tanks do you seem to get the best coloration on Bleeding avenger. Mine is kind off at the top of the scape but looking a bit pale. trying to decide if that means it needs to go up or down.
