RS Reefer 170 and Varios-2 Pump Fitting

Just using the standard green tubing for the return but it seems as if it doesn't fit the return barb on the Varios-2.

Is that the case and I need something else or should I try to get it to fit?

I used this "Soft Silicone Tubing" from BRS on my Varios2 return line. A couple of zip ties. Works great. And because it is "soft" it diminishes more of the vibration from the pump. It's absolutely quiet.

Hi Gary. Thanks for that info! I'm going to order some to have on-hand. Did you get the 1/2 inch?

I heated it up and was able to get it over the barb. Just figured it should have been easier to deal with. I almost cut it too short as well.
