I've been checking out the members forum and everyone's builds for a few months now as I accumulate equipment and plan for my build. I must say that there are many inspiring tanks and the attention to detail is just amazing. I've been out of the hobby for the past couple of years and I am pretty excited to be getting back into it.

Now on to the fun stuff. This is what I have so far for equipment:

90 gallon rr tank
DIY stand
Eshopps-200 sump
Sicce Syncra 4.0
Smart ATO
Reef Octopus XP 2000 Cone
2 x VorTech MP40 ES
ATI 6x54 Dimmable Fixture
CaribSea Arag-Alive sand
DIY screen top
Apex monitor
Red sea coral pro salt
2 Eheim heaters
Misc pumps
Misc testing kits
Mixing station brute buckets

I have about 90 lbs of base rock cycling right now so hopefully my tank cycle will not take long. Tomorrow I plan on painting the back of the tank and starting my leak test. If all goes well I would like to have saltwater in the tank of Wednesday. I'm pretty sure I'll have some work to do with the rock but hopefully that won't take long. Most of the pieces are pretty big so I'll break them up a little so that I can create 2 islands.

My list of items that I still would like to get are:

Battery backup for my vortechs
ATO container
Dosing pumps and container
Carbon and gfo reactor
Biopellet reactor
Salinity probe and module for my Apex

Here are some pictures of everything so far:

Here is a picture of my old tank:

I'll most likely go heavy on sps with some lps and zoas mixed in.

Thanks for looking - Roland

Great old tank and nice start for the new!

Thanks Rev! I wish that I would have given the old tank time to grow out but things come up. I can't wait to get this one up and running.

I'm liking the custom pipe paint job! Very cool!

Nice setup!!!

You don't have to paint (less you really want too) most big box online retailers now sell colored PVC.

I figured he painted it cause that valve handle looks orange too...unless now big box stores sell colored valves now!!

It's pretty amazing how many different things are available this time around. Four years ago you either had to spray paint or settle for white pvc.

Man, I can't believe it's been 2 years since I started this tank. I figured it wouldn't be a bad idea to post a few pictures.
