RSM to RS REEFER 250!

This is my reefer. There are many like it, but this one is mine!

Just switched from my RSM 250 to REEFER 250. Below is what I am running. This will be fun and I look forward to tips and suggestions. Hopefully I can help you too.

30lbs of Pukani
1 chromis (runt)
1 yellow tang
2 percula clowns
2 banghai cardinals
Yellow watchman / pistol
Cleaner shrimp

Running red sea coral salt pro.

I have some work to do down below. Working on custom ATO resivoir and apex/cord/tube management!

A few close ups. Added Stylophoras (green and purple) and cool monti (no idea what name).

Also added Rowaphos to my Mini 80 Reactor. Anyone using that?

Also restarted the DOS today.

The tank looks great!

I used an Ikea cabinet on my white 170. It matches pretty good and it only cost $40. You could go with a larger version for a few bucks more.

Wow. That is tough to watch for anyone, let alone those that love these species as much as we do...

So...

Just added custom acrylic 7.5g rodi resivoir.
That will help a lot as the Reefer ATO is WAY TOO SMALL.

Need to add a cabinet on the side for better cable management. Right now nothing is on the floor of the cabinet at least.

I can't seem to dial the AP700 where I like it, compared to my HYDRAS. Either too blue, or too white.

Would love any tips if anyone had them for this light.

Not a huge fan of the Mini80 reactor so far either. The filter pad at the top gets clogged and really restricts the flow.

I almost went with a RSM but then they came out with the Reefers and went with a 250.

Can we get an update on this tank?
