rsr 250 main pipe leaking at valve/diaphragm

Hey there, so yesterday i cleaned the valve like i always do every couple months and since putting it back on it is leaking, i put it on correct and no matter what i do it leaks. the leak varies from the sides of the gate valve "box" i guess you would call it to underneath it where the divet is in the pipe. i have a new one on order which i dont know how to install since i didnt install the tank myself. any good advice on replacing the sump valve down pipe or ideas on what to do to stop the leaking? i got the part from marine and reef with expedited shipping. TIA

After some research on line, I noticed it should have a clip on the left side of valve,never noticed it of course but I just found it broken off and floating in the sump. Could I reglue it? Is that my leaky issue?

Scratch that it wasnt a piece of a clip mine doesnt look like it has clips

I ended up ordering a whole new pipe with valve from marine and reef site and replaced it

OK. I called Red Sea and they said to replace the diaphragm (part R40370) for $6.00. Including FedEx charges the total was about $31.

Got it installed and no leaks!
