Does anyone know the size of the acrylic screw used in the Red Sea Reefer float valve?

I just snapped mine in my RSR 250 float when cleaning it. I have replaced it with a metal screw but want to swap back in an acrylic one before that rusts. This is the screw that connects the float to the stem and allows an adjustment of the float angle. It seems around M3x6 or so.

I will measure the bits I have left but thought I would post a quick question in case anyone knows the spec to save me time. Thanks in advance.

I would call Red Sea customer service and get the part from them directly.

Thanks, but I am in Sydney Australia so our access to supplies like this is a little more limited. That is however a really good suggestion and I will contact their support to see if they can give me the specs and any suggestions about what I can get in my market.

As an example I could buy an entirely new genuine float valve assembly from a local supplier - flexible tube, shutoff valve etc. A$48. A little pricy to get what is really a 10c plastic screw...

In case anyone is interested I can confirm the float valve screw is an acrylic M3 size, and the 6mm (M3x6) screw fits perfectly. A$1.20 for 20 screws vs A$48 for a genuine float valve kit (although I may have been able to just get the float valve a little cheaper).

I did contact Red Sea customer support but they advised they buy the float valve as a complete unit so don’t know what the specs of the screw is. To give them their due credit they responded to me very promptly.
