Has anyone experienced anything like this?
I have a 150 mixed reef; it is lit by 8x54w t5s about 14" off a 24" tall tank. They run for 7 hours a day. In the last week or so I have noticed several of my lps receding. Some at rapid rates others slowly or just recently. I did notice tonight my gfo barely having any water movement through it. I also did a 10g WC and replaced carbon(both would normally be done. Sps look a little on the brown side but are coloring up, growing, and the tank is 4 months old so I'm not expecting a whole lot out of them as far as color and growth yet. I'm just looking for a cause or any ideas about the tissue recession on the lps. I've never had a problem with lps before this. Not really any new corals added to the tank. I did add about 9 anthias to the tank a week ago but the stn started before I added the fish. I was vodka dosing 2.3 ml of vodka and I've stopped as of 2 days ago. I use brs 3 part via BM doser and kalk in top off water.
Last test I was
7dkh(raising to 8)
390ppm ca
1300 mag
Ph 8.3
Ammonia 0
Nitrate 0
Nitrite 0
TIA
