So I've been thinking about getting a frag tank, ever since I got into the hobby I quickly realized I much rather grow coral instead of having a display tank.

Was doing some research and I saw lots of people use these Rubbermaid containers. Seems a lot cheaper then paying hundreds on glass.

Anyone got one and have some pros/cons?

Id probably go sump less and install a Seachem Tidal Power Filter with a max spec gyre...

It sounds like what you are asking about is the beginnings to a coral farm. Check out the R2R thread about the Worldwide Coral Frag Farm. Hopefully you will be able to get some ideas and, if nothing else, help you to dream bigger!!! I'm excited for you and this new potential adventure - keep us in the loop!
