i currently use one of those blue “shipping barrels”, safe for water storage for my mixing station. I’d love to move my big mixing station to the closet that houses our washer and dryer. There is a good amount of room behind them and to the side. One or two of the Rubbermaid Slim Jim containers would be perfect for this.
I’m wondering if anyone is using these and what your experience has been? The lids are hard to come by and I’d expect the top to bow, maybe buckle when full from the weight of the water. The lid should help it keep shape but it seems thin walled. Perhaps the bowing (if, and when full of liquid) would pop the lid off? Maybe I’m wrong about that though.
Hoping people use them and are happy. Please let me know.
