I'm planning on adding a 50g Rubbermaid tub to replace my 20g sump. Something like this
I have a few concerns though.
1. How will my ATO work? Since its a bigger body of water evaporation is going to be more before the ATO kicks in. Where now I just a typical sump and its very a minimal notice.
2. With the skimmer in there if I keep corals will the bubbles effect them?
3. Is there any way to add like chambers that flow into one another? (Like a typical sump)
Can't really think of anything. Been trying to think of ways to to chambers but no ideas yet. My only options were to tie pvc together and make a wall kind of or try to put a small bucket that the water overfalls from. But there's probably another option!
Any input or other things I should be worried about would be great!
