History:
Had fish 2 years in 150 gal dt. No disease ever visible on this fish, it was fat and healthy.

I removed all fish from dt due to desire to eradicate minor ich presence.

This particular fish has been through:
Fresh water dip (no flukes)
TTM
Prazipro
Metro laced foods 14 days.

Then in group qt it developed a cloudy eye. Removed into separate qt, full round of Kanaplex cured that.

Back into group qt.

Few weeks later I notice ragged fins and body discoloration. Removed and into separate qt, full round of trifecta for 12 days.
No change.

Did ruby reef ralley 90min bath.

Began triple sulfa and furan2 round.
It’s day 4 with these meds and no change.
Fish eats well, acts normal, alert and bright eyed, ragged fins are improving, but the discoloration concerns me.

I’ll finish sulfa/furan round and then what?

Yes, the discoloration can be symptomatic of a variety of problems. You mentioned that the fish "was" fat. Does it's belly look shrunken in a bit to you? Have you seen it's poop lately?

Belly, maybe a tad shrunken, not bad.
It poops a lot. Mostly normal dark brown. A few days it pooped large reddish ones that was concerning.
It’s eating frozen brine/black worms/ krill, pellets and live saltwater guppies. 6EC90757-C60B-4186-965A-943E242E0677.jpeg 251F5ADD-B184-4DEE-9ED3-A18814A4869D.jpeg

As long as the fish is eating and in no discomfort, I'd consider letting the Triple Sulfa & Furan2 continue. Meds are notoriously slow acting on fish.

I agree. Are you sure nothing is beating on it? The fins look like fluke or aggression issues to me, however. Did you perform FW dip in dark bucket? If so and you’re sure no flukes, it resembles aggression to me. The injuries may become infected so you’re on the right rack either way!

I agree, what other fish do you have?

Fwd not in dark bucket, but I looked closely and it went through prazipro after dip.

It’s with long time tank mates that are all smaller...flame hawk pair, clown pair, Cardinal, bellus, white tail bristle, coris wrasse, CBB, chalk basslet... I have observed no aggression with any parties in the qt.

The group qt is 75 gallon Rubbermaid.

I agree, initially thought fins were due to aggression, but no other fins in qt look this way. Also the discoloration is quiet drastic.

I haven’t been able to find reasons for the patchy, pale body. Thank you for your help.
