Ruby Red Draganet isn't eating. Has a weird circle on him

Our ruby red draganet has stopped eating for about 3 days now. He barely moves. He ate pods and frozen food right from the baester since we got him about 3 months ago. We dump 4 jars of pods in the refugium and display tank at least once a month. So we can't pin it on starvation. All our water parameters are fine and have been for while.

I've attached some photos that my wife took, with and without the filter, that seem to show a "ring" on the top of his body. We aren't sure of this is normal coloring. We looked back on pics from 2-3 months ago, and I feel like I can slightly see a ring. But our lights were dimmer then too.

So, I'm hoping someone has seen this before and can help us out. Thanks!

Sorry - I can't see anything treatable here.

The ring is normal coloration towards the front, (these fish often have a white semi-circle behind their heads) with stress coloration forming a band that creates the look of a circle.

Is the fish breathing fast?
What other fish are in the tank with it?
Do they show any symptoms?

Thanks for coloration detail. Now I know. He's breathing normal to me. No other symptoms in the tank with the other fish. They are all acting and eating normal.

We have a 90 gallon DT with 3 clowns, 3 anthias, 2 cardinals, watchman goby, diamond goby, dwarf angel, a mandarin draganet, another scooter blenny and of course our CUC.

The tail isn't bitten. I know it looks like it in the photo but I assure you it's not. We can see absolutely no physical abnormalities or injuries. I replied to the other guy above about what fish we currently have.

Sorry - I can't tell you much then, not many clues to go on here, I'm stumped. Fish can develop health issues that we aquarists are simply not able to identify/cure. Internal Coccidia and viral infections can happen that are not treatable and cannot be visually identified.

The mandarin and scooter in the same tank, without symptoms seems to point away from contagious disease here - they are close enough evolutionarily that I would think they would show symptoms also.

Can you isolate the fish in a floating acclimation tank and try to target feed it?
