Rule for GPH

The flow as already mentioned is dependent on what your inhabitants are and their flow requirements. For softies 10-20x display volume is probably good, for SPS and LPS coral the sky is the limit with maybe 30-40x being common.

A lot of us shoot for 3 to 5x the display volume for the return pump so in your case say 250 to 500 GPH. This also keep the velocity through the sump low enough microbubbles should not be a problem with a few baffles.
For the remaining flow things like closed loops or powerheads such as Vortechs, Tunzes or Evolutions work well. Myself I have a 100G display with 30G sump and have a Ocean Runner 3500 return pump via an Oceans Motions Squirt two way with Loc Line nozzles and two Evolutions 1400's controlled by a ReefKeeper Lite switching every 30 seconds. I feel I could use a little more but have no trouble keeping any corals.
