Ok, folks. I need to run a standard aquarium airline through a 1" pvc water line. (The water line and airline will both exit at the bottom of a reactor. ) I need to be able to both run water and air at the same time- without water leaking out of the pipe everywhere.
I'm sure I'm not he first person to do this. In fact, I'm pretty sure there's a fitting made just for this purpose out there somewhere. I just have no idea what it would be called, or where to go to find it.
Anybody have the answer?
TIA

I cant picture what your are trying to do in my head. There are check valves for air line tubing for when you have an air pump below the surface of the aquarium for when power goes out it doesn't start a siphon and drain the tank .

I have a reactor. Reverse flow . Water enters the bottom, and exits through the top.
I want to pump air down through the reactor feed pipe. So there will be an airline inside the water feed pipe, both exiting at the bottom of the reactor.
I need to figure out a way to have the airline tubing enter through the pipe wall , without the water feed pipe leaking

Why the air ?? Maybe something can be made out of a check valve , reducer fitting 1/4", to Mur-Lok fitting and use R/O tubing . Bulk Reef Supply plumbing section ?? Still , Why air??
Are you supplying this reactor with its own water pump, How about a protein skimmer pump with the air line fitting on the intake ?? Why the air??

I'm going to try to I'm going to try to turn it into pretty much a reverse flow ozone reactor. I need to pump your own to the bottom of the chamber so the bubbles can rise and get trapped in the bio Bale media
I do not I do not want to go drilling into either the lid or the side of the reactor if I can avoid it

With all the RO out there, plenty of fittings to work with. Look into drip irrigation at HD or Lowes.

Yep. Checked them out. Part of the reason for posting here.:)
I'd think there would be a fitting out there with barbs on each end, but with a MNPT in the middle. Would allow you to screw the fitting in.
Cannot find such an animal. Not sure if it's because it doesn't exist, or because I don't know what to call it.
Even my trump card- Google Images- hasn't yielded anything that looks like what I need.

How about replace the angle on the top with a T, cap the top of the T with a PCV cap and then drill it and use this to run the tubing through. Not sure if I'm dreaming here...

Thanks for the reply.
I've thought about that, but isn't there some metal (a clip, maybe?) in JG fittings?
