Running bio pellets and ats.

Yep. Tried running both of them but one fights the other for some reason and my phosphate and nitrates have been high . So, for sh--- and giggles I took the bio pellet reactor off line and guess what yep phosphates going down nitrates too. Any body know why this would happen? Pellets are suppose to lower nitrates but I can never get them below 15 and phosphates. .1 to .17. After 3 days I am at .07 phosphates and 10 nitrates. I do not get it but that's one less pump I have to run.

I've never been able to get nitrates low using pellets myself. The only parameter I really worry about is phosphates (my tank seems to do great with higher nitrates).
