Running CARX with KALKSTIRRER

Hi all

Anyone running both systems? I’m about to dial in KALKSTIRRER by Avast marine. Did you initially slow your drip on your carx or keep it the same?

what’s a good dosing parameter to start with?

Please share your dosing pump you went with.

I've been running both for almost 20 years. I use a custom Avast Kalkstirrer and run all my top off thru the kalk stirrer. My topoff runs before dawn and at sunset.

I control the dosing of my Calcium Reactor using the Alkatronic to monitor the alk. If the Alk gets too high then I turn off the Calcium Rx altogether. Alkatronic tests every 2 hrs so once Alk drops below set level the Calc Rx kicks back on.

Has been working really well for a long time.
