Running dosing tubing in crawl space

So as the title says, I want to run my dosing pumps from a remote room and have the tubing go in my crawl space and then back up into where my sump is located.

I have been doing this with my Neptune DOS for water changes for the last 4 years with absolutely no issues.

My question is: will there be an issue with the alkalinity and calcium 2 part solutions with temperature fluctuation going from inside the house, to the crawl space and back into inside the house?

I'm running BRS Soda Ash and Calcium Chloride.

Great question. I wouldn't think there would be any issue with calcium as it's much more soluble. If there is a problem I would think it would be with the alkalinity. When my alkalinity sits for a long time it precipitates a little.

There will be an issue if your crawl space gets cold enough for the line to freeze.

My auto water change line hasn’t frozen in 4 years that I’ve been using it. Come to think of it, all my ro drinking water lines using the exact same tubing hasn’t ever frozen and it’s a longer run to my kitchen sink.

Not sure if alk or calcium solution has a higher freeze point than saltwater or drinking water would.
