So, I have a reefer 250 and have been running a Gyre since I got it but I decided to get two Nero 5s and put one on each side.

My question is, what is generally the best setup for this? Should I have them at the same flow facing each other, Or have one higher than the other, one over more to the left or right than the other?

Appreciate any help.

I have 2 fluval sea circulators, one is way higher powered than the other. Have them on opposite ends of the tank but slightly offset from each other so they dont clash their flow with each other. Keeping my stronger one higher in the tank and hoping it will be ok for some sps. Theres different thoughts on this but I feel as long as its creating adequate circulation without totally stirring up your sand all over the place you should be ok

On my tanks with dual powerheads, I put them on opposite sides, at equal height from the top, but I put one further forward than the other. It creates flow to the front and flow to the back. They're vortechs and they change patterns a handful of times a day.

I have 2 gyres on my tank. Sitting vertically in each side of the overflow, my tank is only sps and i get lots of flow. Since i learned what 2 gyres can do i would never go any other route.

My gyre 3k was way too powerful for the tank. Even on 10% it rocks everything haha.

I get what youre saying. I have 2 2k on a cube 45. No sand so you can imagine what goes down in there

Well the problem is I want to turn the flow higher but it messes my sand up. So I have to keep it at 10% lol, and I kinda wanted two so I can help with some dead spots that dont get much flow.
