Its starting to look like a reef, very surprised to already have little purple coraline spots pooping up all over the bare rocks this soon, these cubes are neat tanks, mines a mutt, older 24G tank with a newer 28G HQI hood, after some fiddling around they work pretty good together, and temps stay very manageable, around 77 peak with lights on for full run, and abit above 74 after lights have been off for a long time ( I keep my living room figid which is where the tank and I live, niether of us likes the heat) What do you guys think thus far?

Thanks to MattS for the trumpet, bright green zoas and large GSP rock that got camera shy after the water change, its normally fully open.

Tank is looking good (and familiar)

I think this is my old tank. If it is it is a great tank and you will really like it. Here is what it used to look like. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! I have upgraded to a 90 gallon

Hey warm, if this is your old tank did toy change any of the moonlights? The front right is incredibly bright, though it flikers alittle, the others arather dim compared, but the front right pretty much lights up the whole tank. If you did change it what did you use and where did you get them?

It is my old tank but I never changed any of the moonlights. I bought the hood and added it to the tank from one of the modification companies on the web. I would look at some of those sites. You probably can find info on replacing the moon lights. Kepp posting the pictures be interested to see how it turns out.

I bpught it with a used 28G JBJ HQI hood, its not a perfect fit, but with a few mods it works well, and doent cook the tank. So far I'm loving it, big enough to be interesting, yet easy to maintain in my present physical condition, heres a few more snaps,
