running gfo in mr1 by nextreef

Hello guys im having a problem with phosphates i cant seem to get them to 0. Im running a ohosphate reactor with gfo and a uv sterilizer and a coralife skimmer. All of a sudden im having a crazy outbreak of green hair algae what did i do wrong how can i fix it ? My parameters are ammonia -0
Nitrite-0
Nitrate -0
phoshates -0.03-0.05

Have you measured the effluent from the GFO to see if it is depleted?

Is it in a rector that you can collect some effluent?

Ya its in a mr1 by nextreef .the effluent is the liquid or the gfo in the reactor

put the output of gfo in an empty cup and collect enough water for the po4 test.

where are the HA growing mainly? if on rock then the rocks might be leeching out po4.

Ya its on the rocks and sand im hoping its not dinos i just got out of work and going home to work on the tank
