How's it going guys? I just received my Galaxy Hydro LED light a few days ago and i am going to install it today. I have a few questions about the light and i was hoping some of you guys could probably answer these for me. The light has 2 knobs (one for the blue light and one for the white and mixed red, green and orange lights) that range from a 0-100 i dont know what. I hope i dont sound to confusing but i will post a picture of what im talking about. At what number range should i adjust the knobs on the blue and other mixed light? And how far should my light be from my 20 gallon saltwater tank?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had a chinese black box over my tank at 10" above my water, I ran blues at 50% and whites at 25%. It will depend on what coral you have in your tank.

Really depends on what you want in the tank. How high you'll be mounting the fixture and how deep your tank is?

I am starting with softies. My tank is relatively new so i won't be adding corals till a few more weeks. I do want to eventually add a few hard corals though. I just want my aquarium to have a set lightinin schedule starting from today . Thanks for the fast reply.

He mentioned it was a 20g, if its like mine it should be 16" deep.
Gotcha I missed that.

20-30 whites and 50-60 blues at 8-12 inches above is a good start.

Thanks for the replies guys, the tank is 16 inches tall. So i guess about a foot should be enough correct? Can i add a hardy coral at about a month after the tank is cycled? Or is that too soon?
