Running Seachem Denitrate

Hello there, I recently bought the vertex 1.5L media reactor and want to know if I can run Seachem Denitrate in it? How do I use in this reactor. I have AIO 40G breeder Tank with 30G display and my Nitrate is always high( above 20PPM).

I use a bag of it in my AC70 which gets about 400gph running through it. I find it very useful as I have very little rock in the tank, my frag tank. I feed heavy yet my NO3 and PO4 are constantly near 0.

High flow is needed or low? Does it have tumble like bio pallets if I run it in a reactor?

Low and would take a lot to tumble the stuff. It's like small pumice stones
