Running time of skimmer

Hello everyone.
I have a 57gal mixreef and i use octo classic 150s. Should I open it 24/24 or 16/24 and 12/24. Which one is best and why?

Welcome !! How long you run your skimmer depends on your nutrient levels as well as the oxygen levels of your tank. If you are running a ULN system and want to increase your nutrients, you can shut it off and not run it as much. I personally would never run it anything other than 24X7 regardless of nutrient levels just due to the other benefits.
