Palys.... schmal-lys.
Who care if palytoxin are one of the most lethal forms of neuro-toxins.
Actually I did take a huge GAMBLE with my health torching a bunch of palys off this rock.
It was quick and efficient but it was Running with the Devil
PRECAUTIONS I took.
* did it outside
* had a box fan in btwn me and the LR
* Had two N95 masks on
* Had eye protection
* pointed the torch away from me at a full arms length, all downstream airflow blowing AWAY from me
I was impressed how the Palys withstood the flame for a minute. They eventually boiled all their guts and water out first. It actually took 2-3 mins to charcoal them
This all went down Yesterday and still around to live and tell ya all about it.
I do NOT advise you doing this.
I have 10yrs experience with palys and just wanted to share the most daring thing I've done with Palys.
