Hi guys need advice on how to get rid of rust brown flatworms in tank

at the moment have quiet a few on my mushrooms that I can see have been Siphoning them out to the best of my ability haven’t spread to any other coral only keep mushrooms and zoas and few LPS

would like to know best corse of action, adding a wrasse or mandarin into tank, or nuke tank with flatworm exit but worried about the toxins that the flat worms would release after using such product anyone had such experience with such flat worms and what was your course of action

many thanks

Pictures will help determine what type of flatworm and best course of action.
First defense always no matter what type is to siphon up as many as you can.

I think my LFS had this problem, what they did was added a couple of springer damsels to control them

Thank you for all replies this is a photo of them

If those mushrooms/zoanthids you have can be removed from the tank you could give them a quick freshwater dip. Due to the osmotic shock the flatworms should fall off in a matter of seconds. GL.

thank you for the mushrooms that cannot be removed whould would you advise

I would add a fish that is known to eat them as your first method of attack while also sucking as many up as possible during water changes

Flat worm exit worked for me but a nice máxima clam suffered and died. Then they came back. I would say siphon as many as you can periodically once a week. Use a rigid airline tube attached to vinyl tubing. Have make-up water ready to replace the water you’ve taken out. Then, get yourself a wrasse that likes to eat them.
