My cheap led lights fell in the tank last week. I removed the lights today and rust water fell into my tank. What should I do? Prime, poly pads, GAC?

You are not misreading. I didn't explain it well. My lights were in for a couple of seconds. I took it out and placed it on my cover. Today I took it off my cover and that is when everything spilled in. It was on my cover for a week.

Ok that makes more sense. I was hoping you didn't leave the light in the tank for days!
In this case rust probably won't have a lot of damage but keep your eye out. If you still see it in the tank maybe some carbon or Chemipure will take it out.
