Rust in water

I found that the hose running to my sump was a metal clamp and was most likely getting rust in the water. I’ve been having a lot of issues with my water quality and wonder how much might be related to the clamp ?
I removed the metal one and replaced it with a plastic clamp.

Polyfilter can take it out.

Corals dying but I also have flatworms so they are also probably killing my corals

Remove the clamp, run poly filter and then flatworm exit. Done, and Done.
