RW-8 in a 30 gallons tank

I just put an RW4 in my 60g cube (2x2x2) and I think the flow is fine. You could always dial it back if need be.

I have a rw8 in my 57 gallon and I believe it will be too much for a 30 gallon as I keep mine on very low power setting and is still a lot in my tank

On just regular mode with the lowest power setting it will cause sand storm in the opposite corner of tank and my tank is three foot wide

I have the RW-4 and it is powerful. I have it on the W1 and the 2nd speed setting and it puts out a lot a motion. Great pump.

I have a rw8 in my 30 I have it in w1 mode in the second light setting, I got some sps at top which they love and I have a hammer coral in between rocks to block the flow, really strong pump but overall tank is doing good with pump hope this helps

i had an RW8 in my 34. to much flow. no matter how i positioned it, it blew sand everywhere. will be buying an rw4 soon. let us know how this goes.
