Ryans 10 year tank

I've seen and listened to many speakers at Macna, RAP and my local club.I really enjoyed Ryans (BRS) 10 year tank speech recently posted on you tube.Although he has done ALOT of Videos over the years his personal view on the hobby was spot on and from a unique perspective, I felt that he really gave a direct overview of the hobby and hobbyist and alot of things to take away and consider long term in having and maintaining as he put it " THE MOST DIFFICULT MAINSTREAM PET HOBBY THERE IS",

I really enjoyed the presentation. While I've had a surprising amount of success with the 125 mixed reef in the first 2 years, it really made me consider what I'm doing and more importantly NOT doing for the long term health of the system.

The best advice in that talk was" only listen to people who will show you the fruits of their work". Indeed, you should not follow every advice out there, forums are full if advices that are unsubstantiated unfortunately.
