My SA misbar onyx has been showing interest in my LPS for a a few weeks now. But recently it chose the pectina to host in. Now it will just lay on the pectina, like it is an anemone. The other clown of the pair, grade B picasso, just host zoas. But the zoas are directly under the pectina.
This was interesting to me because only 1 of my 6 clownfish has hosted an anemone, and it is a rock anemone which is not even natural for them to host, instead my clowns have chosen: chalice, zoa, mushroom, frogspawn, torch, cup coral, acan, feather duster, toadstool, and the silicone on the corner of the tank.
Anyways here are some pictures I caught of it hosting this morning. The pictures do not show it laying on the pectina though. I had to use the on camera flash because the lights are off.
