sabae anemone(or others)

anyone have any experience with sabae anemones or others in a reef tank, i know they are supposed to be somewhat compatible with caution but as i only have a 45 if it moves too much itll start stinging everything...i have a good spot i just wonder what chance i have of it deciding to stay there

Proceed with caution...

All anemones have minds of their own. They are unpredicatable. They may stay in one place for a long time and suddenly decide to move for no appearent reason other than they just wanted to redecorate the aquarium. They may not agree with you about the idea of a good spot, either.

Also, a saebae will get large depending on how often you feed it and other factors. Plan for the long term because even if that perfect spot works now, the anemone will grow. I heard of someone who purchased a saebae that he just had to have and it and it literally filled his entire 24g once it was happy and opened fully. He returned it to the store a day or two later. (saw the anemone back in the store and asked what happened)

If you would like to see how big a sebae will get come on over and look in the 300 this weekend. I am sure you will change your mind if you gave a smaller tank. They are beautiful but get large.
