There is just SOMETHING about abrotanoids that i couldnt resist. I mean MAN whad you look at that. I know how hard they are to keep, and having done my research, cannot find one person who has has success with this. Im pretty positive joes rainbow is an abro but that doesnt count =) anyway, figured i try my hand at one so well see how it turns out

Great corals! I’ve enjoyed looking at the pictures you post here and on IG for awhile.

With the 8-bulb ATI fixture with ReefBrite XHO what’s your total photoperiod? How many hours are the XHO on? Thanks!

Total I believe is 11 hours.

2 1/2 ramp for t5 and reefbrite. 5 hours everything peek. 3 1/2 hours off.

T5s only run 8 hours off the 11 hour schedule.

Crazy when you see these two in photos. They look similar, but the top one is the fox flame and bottom is rmf snapdragon. Im pretty sure they are even the same type of coral. But in person they look completely different from one another. Fox flame has those long yellow flame looking corallites when the snapdragon has green undertones and just yellow on the tips

Rb are not dimmed. Turn on off. 45 minutes before My t5 cycles, shut off 45 minutes after

No reduced flow at night, flow stays the same.
