The breeders suggest to put them in a dark tank and cut the tenticals off at first. Just so its a base blob of aiptasia for the babys to eat. Just have to find one small enuff lol

for the people that dont already know, not that ive ben having trouble, theres 1 evansi that has not ben "up to plump" for the past 8 months ive had her. She will only eat tiny tiny particals of food, i had to of tryed everything possible. She would always be left out at dinner time and up untill this day felt horrible as she seems to be the smallest of the group.
She always ate frozen cyclopeeze, due too shortage/unharvest of the copepod, i needed a change fast. So i decided to spend the 70$ to get 2 packages of larrys eggs. First time ive ever seen all the fish go absolutely bonkers including my little pal, so i will be sticking to these eggs for now on. Just a quick thanks to @ReefFrenzy for getting this out. Im sure theres a bunch of unhappy fish out there patiently waiting for a tasty treat!

Sorry, i need to catch up on your thread! So how did your skimmer like the eggs? Both tank's i threw these in the fish loved but the skimmers went bonkers for them as well : )

What type of tank will you house them in?

At first, just a 2,000 ml cup for now. I have a little 5 gallon rimless deep blue tank laying around. They dont need anything, no heater no bubbler, just water changes every few days

The eggs are like the god food for wrasses, they litterally turn crooked everytime i feed the eggs lol. I acually was surprised, i cut up a couple cubes so far and it feels greesy like pe mysis, but my skimmer stays fine after i feed it instead of collapsing

Finally got my potassium test kit today, and its WAY WAY low. 300 even, may or may not start dosing again, obviously my saltmix isnt sufficient for me. Going to dose my waterchange water and bring it up that way

Got mine for 20 bucks. How is the elos? And what do you dose with if you need to

iO checked out at 340 for me. Makes no sence, i do 20% changes once a week, i dont run zeovit so i assume its the bubble algae slurping it down

If I dose it I use brightwell the elos has been good always gives me between 400-450 you make me want to run a test but the tank has been looking very good these days

Yea i use brightwell, cant get my hands on anything thats pure k chloride/sulfate, got the kit from dave n john. Haha dude potassium is the best nutrient to test for, im happy were im at now and i dont know wether or not to resume dosing.

I'll run a test in a few min I have to change out my rodi unit filters so will do it then.
