I just picked up the Salifert Potassium test the other day myself. Tested at 380. I was glad the test was a easy to read and perform. I've been dosing Brightwell Potassium and ReefGrow Bromide Potassium.

Yea the brightwell is the best standard out, i used to use the redsea colors b i think is potassium and bromide. Im going to bring my k up to 400 with waterchanges.

Pop corals has 2 kits left, and there for 20$ they usually go for 30. Do you dose iron too?

No I don't. I order the kit for 18 if I go BK tomorrow I will pass and get one

Ill be upgrading to the neptune apex cor when it comes out, and use my jebao return to mix saltwater. Ive always used atleast 1 jebao powerhead in my tanks, i get them for free after everytime my lfs goes to a swap so i have a bunch of rws collecting dust. The problem is the magnets rust, and anything under the rw15 usually will seize if you dont clean it

Wait on the cor myself may go all apex one day but I love my mp's. I'm using a 9000 for return on my 75g the only jebao I love lol

Yea mine works great, especially for the price. I run the 12000 around 70% for my tank. Even if you dont use the jebao return, i think its very good to have on hand just incase. Ive ben patiently waiting for the cor to come out, hopefully soon theyll have a release date

got my tunze coralgum in the mail today. Going to give some insite if its worth it or not. I HATE epoxy, hate the fact if you use enuff of it your water will get a cloudy talcun powder along with a screwed up skimmer for a few days. The tunze gum is expensive but you get alot of it.

So at first, i mixed up a tiny tiny dap and it stayed soft, so i figured it would take time to cure. Mixed up a nice little ball and it litterally turned into a rock in about 50 seconds, couldnt even press it into the rock so yea im happy with it. Skimmer head dropped, no odor, no cloudy water, no dusting on my fingers. So far so good

Also forgot to add, i dont think the actual epoxy caused the foam head to collapse, it will always collapse when i dunk my hand on the tank. Also my ph remained stable instead of its typical daily rise so well see. But i love it, its like gum at first. Unlike typical hard epoxys, its so soft you can litterally squeeze it into any nook you want. I bought this to base out my sps frags, and for some new aquascape pieces i have

If you look very closely you can see THOUSANDS of them along the waterline, by the aiptasias. There soo little, dont know what im going to do about all the ones floating on the water, they dont seem to come down. Also this takes no effort, not assuming ill be successfull, but i just take a 100ml baster and suck water out - new tank water in everytime i open my sump
