The frag i got was cracked perfectly down the middle, straight from the center of the polyp down lol! i could not believe it survived, i glued the 2 pieces down, and it just healed quickly. But it took me along time to find a legit frag. Wouldve took longer to get another one. My tank doesnt do that well with these "red"colored type of corals so well see.

Showing off any mini colonys yet? Come on we want your corals to grow quicker.

Haha soon, about a month or so and everything should look nice and full. Corals are encrusting FOREVER so you know how that goes lol. Some of them are over 6 inches of encrusting, that started to branch now. A few havnt grown not 1 bit since i bought them.

Show off your fav of the week then [emoji2]

I'm still waiting on a pic of that HW :)
See not too shabby. The bottom disk i had previously, was encrusted down the whole front of the disk before i remounted it. Theres some brown type of lookalike corralline algae on the plug jason fox game me, and im pretty positive its limiting growth on the sides

Also salifert reads 10dkh as well. Kept it around 170 the first year. Then i added kalk along with my 2 part. So it flucuates frm 175 to 185 between water changes.

Mine has been around 10 for a long time. I've just now started lowering it to see how my corals react. I'm trying to get it down to around 8(slowly) if I can. Your corals are nice and healthy and seem to like 10dkh that's for sure.

Also my calc flux as well. Usually between 450-470
Mag has been 1275 for for the last year
N03 is somewhere between 12 and 25
P04 is low very very low, have been battling this issue since the start of my tank even without the bubble algae. If i dont feed flake 3 times a day along with oyster feast twice, itll be 0ppb(otherwise its 1-8).... Then anything thats not an acropora, has not so good PE without p04 in the water.

Its a never ending battle, the kalkwasser just made my phosphate issue worse but its ok. Next week im ripping apart my tank to get half the bubble algae out, and some diligent testing to make sure stuff looks ok. And hopefully i wont have to be embarressed taking photos anymore lol

I never played with my dkh yet, im honestly chicken to even try it. My nano tank i keep at 8, and everything loves it as well

Yeah I can't take photos of mine due to the brown slime I'm still battling so I know the feeling.
