Led! Figured id cop some vids and photos of it today. ive had it mounted on my back wall at the water line. So now its onto a 5 inch disk for growout =)

I love it too! Got it at reef a palooza but dont have plans for where its going =/ my frag tanks i think are 12 inches high

I think world wide corals(if I'm not mistaken) can get it for you. Very very beautiful texture to it.

had a conversation with a buddy of mine today who constantly spends money on pods. Although it's somewhat inexpensive, buying them every month just boggles me. I never have though to post this but I drain this bucket of cured dry rock almost every month or so - then top it off with fresh tank water after I do a water change. This bucket is cloudy with pods after a week or so. I do use them, I'll scoop some copepods out with some water then add them to my sump.

Just goes to show a bucket filled with rock and water, in a dark hot closet, can produce a very heafty amount of pods for my tank

also thought this was cool. The crazy rainbow looking polyps are completely shaded from my hammer coral. This acan stretches for light, yet the extremely shaded area has the best color to it

Well i almost lost my mind as you can see. I have been seeing flatworms on my glass, althought acro flatworms wont be on your glass, cant be so sure.

Figured id cut a piece off the slimmer, maybe itll start growing. Been in a red sea test vial for 4 days nows. The worms die when they touch the coral.

I assume not. I fragged a bunch of my lps, usually dip stuff when fragging them and haven't seen any. I had planaria that looked like this before in my nano tank, but just eventually disappeared. Only place I've seen them so far is near zoanthids and on my glass.

Yes mate - destroyed my torch coral (they tend to eat fleshy LPS, clams and snails).

This was the source of all the eggs..

It was really weird - I noticed for a couple of days that the torch wasn’t doing great, but I’ve always struggled with torch corals due to my high flow.

Then one day I came down stairs in the morning and checked the tank whilst all the lights were still out (this is when flatworms of most types are active). I could see 8 worm like creature all over the glass (it was a horrible feeling!).

After ripping them out and a closer look around the tank, I saw a large one on the sand just below the torch. I ripped him out and pulled the torch, which is when I found all the eggs.

They’re a-sexual, so I think the large one came in on something, laid a load of eggs and thankfully I caught them all just in time.

The torch was my only LPS (I have SPS). I haven’t seen any since, but always keep a look out just in case. Obviously these are a much more preferred flat worm than SPS eating flatworm, which are a completely different ball game.

Look at the size of that guy! On the other hand they are laying eggs just like that on some coralline algae I've been flaking off my back wall. I think it's time to break down my nano tank and add my six line wrasse into my display. I've been scooping them out and feeding them to him LOL!

Grabbed the inner core! Thats what it looks like in regular day time lighting. Under leds it looks nice. Cant wait to get the coloring process started

Joes rainbow! Had that guy for so long, all it did was get takin over by spinoid. Nothing a half hour bayer dip cant solve. Look at the sticker shock palys! Absolutely love these palys have to be my favorite.

Best time to catch him is before day light in the morning (not tank light). Also, you could use a trap with a mussel in - they like fleshy prey like snails etc
