Lost my cherry bomb colony and most of my sd. Not really to sure why but I got a Cherry bomb colony back LOL save a bunch of chunks of my sd are just healing up waiting to come back home.

When you start to loose a colony ,do you frag it up or let it just play its course or take it out immediately?

Immediately everything gets fragged up. Honestly I've had little broken branches sit in a bag of like a gallon of water and it turns cloudy in a few hours. Can't see a rtn or stn piece sitting in my tank without causing water quality issues. Yea it hurts to pull it out but your better safe then sorry. Heals quicker when fragged into clean tissue. If it looks real bad I just chuck the whole thing. Believe it or not those are the first two colonys I've ever had start going downhill on me. Can't even tell you what happened

Haha thanks. Actually the reason I havnt been posting, have my first due in March. A girl, loosing my mind trying to get ready for the year of no sleep! But I bought a 9 foot acrylic frag tank will be setup very shortly. New display will be done when I get myself a house soon.
