Altered ego finally got color again. Only took 4 years. I also started that red sea trace program. Figured I'd share something I've noticed. Everytime I've setup a tank, usually withen the first 2 years - your new shrimps/crabs will usually molt always once a month.

After about 2 3 years in, nothing would ever molt in my tank, I have atleasy 20 emerald crabs, and they were litterally covered in coralline algae. Since they stopped molting. There was a period in time where I decided to try some iodine/iodide dosing, and litterally withen the week, everything would just molt.

Once I started this red sea trace program, they started to molt again. Just goes to show actually how depleted iodine is in my tank regardless of what the icp tells me.

I do 1ml per day of all four parts, and I can say it's doing pretty well for me so far

Lol they are full, honestly haven't really had the time to move everything out on racks to take proper photos especially with like the nice PE you see before moving them. Makes the process so lengthy.

My second splice colony stripped, also came in with like 50° water like 3 weeks prior so I think it just wasn't happy. Other one Is starting to branch now

They do man for sure. I have the origonal actual og Todd's torch. Super nice, also have one of those malaysian HG. That's about it. I do have some hammers though
