My 200 gallons had the ick for about three weeks and I have lost a lot of my fish. So far 5 snowflake, yellow tang, blue hippo, sunfish,white/red maroon clown and black/white clown. Those are the one has a lot of ick on it. The other are doing fine and eating. The first week I try powder med no effect, week later I try Ick-X same not thing. Couple days ago I went got the Kick Ick and it seem to be working. The black damsel did have a lot of ick on it and now it's has clear up half way. Very depression to see one by one dying on me. :(

Sorry to hear about the losses. Always difficult to see animals in our care die. Look into Hypo, Copper, or Tank Trasfer Method and cure your tank of ich for good, especially if you plan on keeping tangs. GL.

Sorry to hear… very heartbreaking to see our beautiful fish perish….I let my tank go fish less for 3 months when something similar happened to my tank,

I had a lot of luck with pulling sick fish from the display as soon as I see the first signs of any kind of illness and treating them individually in quarantine to prevent them from giving the disease to the other inhabitants. Also, copper based meds (never in the display tank) always work best for me.

Thanks. The one are alive are eating well and there's no sign of ich on them, as of now I'm treating the tank with KICK-ICH. It seem to be working. Getting ready to set up a quarantine tank now. Can you guys give me some information how to set up a quarantine tank? I have this tank I can use to built a quarantine. Thanks in advance
