Sad SPS any thoughts

Hello yall,
Today I go home and one of my torts had its polyps pulled in. here is a pic:

Any ideas what is wrong?
Maybe he is getting stung by that toadstool nearby?
Its been there a while so i don't think that is it.
Parameters are spot on

Could you list your parameters? Have you have a swing in any of your parameters? Hard to tell from the pic, but is that a long tentacle toadstool leather? It could be caused by toxicity from the leather if you're not running carbon.

How long have you had it? Do you have any other SPS?

SPS need a few things- good flow; good light; consistent Alk, Ca and Mag in the good range; and low nutrients. Are all of these being met?

Yeah I have had no swing in parameters. I have had it for about a month and yes its next to a long tentacle toadstool. I moved it to the sandbed yesterday and today it is getting polyp extension again. I have ~15 other sps (mostly acros) and all are happy and well. I am thinking it must have been something from the toadstool. Maybe I need to run carbon. currently I dont with the mindset if it aint broke dont fix it, but maybe things are starting to break. thanks yall
