Safe ATO reservoir?

Is there any way to tell if this would be safe to use as my auto top off reservoir?

Probably polyethylene (#2) plastic, which is reef safe. What do you have stored in it? I would be more curious about that.

Recommend looking for food safe, and it does say 'pet food' ... so I'd vote: safe !

I have dog food in it. I would be buying a new one for the ato. Thanks for the info
