Safe epoxy?

I don't know of a bad epoxy. Any one of them should be safe for use in our tanks. I've used Rectoseal (unsure about spelling but sounds like that), and also Oatley....both found in the plumbing department.

following, looking for some type of cheaper or more quanity for sticking all my ACROS to the rocks, getting tired of waisting allot of money on BSI- IC Gel .

dont wanna burn my acros or leach something into our tank.

Thx I need to Aqua scape my aquarium hopefully this will help. Can you use this in a already setup tank

Yep! Your skimmer might be overly happy for a short period, but otherwise no issues. Use it all the time to attach corals.

How long it take to dry

I would guess it cures within hours, or no more than a day. This epoxy is the consistancy of Play-doh, so it holds while still being pliable.

I recommend only using something labeled "Potable/Drinking Water Safe". Any other epoxy has not been tested for what will leach out when submerged. I have never heard of someone using grout in their aquarium, and would not attempt it. Things like grout/cement will wreak havoc on various parameters while they cure. I use TLF AquaStick epoxy along with dabs of super glue gel on both sides to help hold initially (the epoxy hardens over hours, not seconds or minutes).

2-part epoxies do create heat as they cure, which can irritate coral tissue. So try to keep it off the tissue when using, particularly for sensitive corals.

I just want to Aqua scape wit something so my rocks won't fall
My favorite product for this is E-Marco400 offered from Marco Rocks. This is not a quick use product that can be placed right back in the tank, however. So what you want to do can have many variables: new installation, existing live rock, existing live rock encrusted with coral, etc. There's no one answer to it. Marco Rocks offers some other methods including acrylic rods and epoxy as well.

I went to the local Home Depot and picked up some of that JB water weld. Hate it. Doesn't seem to stick to nuthin. I'm going to go Portland cement.

I use Ace Hardware brand plumbing epoxy. It is potable. I have a ton of it in my tank holding my rockwork together and my frags to the rock. It does not stick well unless you put a little superglue on the surfaces.
