All I have in my tank besides inverts is mushrooms acans and 1 clown fish!! Where should my nitrate level be at? I like to keep it dirty for my mushrooms.. I used to keep it really low when I had seahorses but I no longer do and ive noticed that the shrooms like it dirty!!

I can tell you that in my tank montipora will start to turn brown once over 20. My lps corals were all good til 30ish. At 50 my orange monti was completely brown, lps had some tissue loss, but my mushrooms and zoas didn’t look any different between 15 or 50.
