Yup, any silicon is fine.

Undecided at the moment. I know alkalinity will be a given, but I’m wrapping up the tank set up over the next few days and even though I’m not dosing yet, I need to run the lines to the sump now because the dosing is coming from a separate cabinet and (of course) I’m not going to be pulling the stand back out to run the lines, once it’s full of water.
