I got a bubble tip anemone about a year ago. It has duplicated itself into five clones; however, one of them has wandered into an unfortunate spot and cannot seem to find its way off. I would like to try and safely remove it and give it a chance to attach elsewhere. Any advice? Thanks!

Place an ice cube to its' foot, it will quickly release. Some take longer but will release

That'll be about the easiest of them you've ever pulled off. Take the clean edge of a credit card and work around the pipe scraping slowly making sure to not damage the foot.

Ice cube to be placed in a bag of some sort .
the freshwater isn’t good to touch directly on the invert .
The amount of FW released from an ice cube will have no impact on tank at all.

There is a reason it’s there to begin with .
chances are if it likes it there it will return again .
But there are a few ways to move them .

1) working a credit card or even your fingers under the foot slowly and carefully not to damage it .
2) provide flow to irritate it . It will release and move somewhere else
3) Ice cube works but put the ice cube in a zip lock bag and massage the foot with it .

it will be irritates by the temp change and release to move somewhere else
