Hello.
It's been a little while since I have been on here. I inherited a 29 gallon Biocube from a friend. He has a brain coral/trachy/welso (whatever you want to call it) that has some Palythoas growing on one part of the underside of it. I am wanting to get rid of them, but hate to get rid of the whole brain if I can help it. I also want to try to remove them safely, I don't want to do anything that would harm me, my family, or my dogs. Is there any way to safely remove them in tank? Something that would eat them but not the other corals (leathers, brain, gsp)? Aiptasia X on one or twp polyps at a time?
If one were to use the Aiptasia X or Paly eater routes, would this stress the polyps and cause them to release toxins into the water that would harm any inhabitants in the tank or in the house?
