Greetings Everyone,

I bought this tank second hand and plan on modifying a few things.One thing i want to ask, Is it ok to have your plug sockets in the cabinet above the sump?

I was thinking of securing it higher up in the cabinet.

Any thoughts? Much appreciated.

IMO it’s best to keep your power bar completely out of sump area, I always mount mine a couple feet away from the tank to avoid any potential issues from spilled water, humidity and salt creep.

maybe place the strip on the back of the cabinet if you have room with the wall being so close?

I was thinking that but depend on my piping on the back if there is a leak there might be bad
