Hi.

Please help identify if there is an issue of not.
Does the Sailfin face look alright to you?

I first noticed some loose tissues in the Foxface's mouth, and he doesn't eat nori well. He tries to kind of suck them instead of biting and then goes away. Although he eats mysis well. Couldn't take a good photo of what I saw in his mouth, but now I noticed that something doesn't look right in the sailfin's mouth as well. The tips of his lips are whitish and their surface doesn't look solid.

The previous 4 weeks they spent in the quarantine tank where I treated them with Ich-X and they were quite stressed in there. Could their mouth issues be the consequences of them just physically hitting the walls in QT?

Yes, I recently netted them from the QT, although I thought I was gentle.

Fish often rub their gums on nets. The skin peels back sometimes. As long as they continue to feed, no treatment is needed.

Ok, thank you. Will be keeping an eye on them.
