I've had this sailfin tang about 6 months and Saturday I noticed it acting odd just staying in one spot and looking at sand. It was eating shrimp on Saturday no food Sunday and seaweed Monday and Tuesday. Went to feed shrimp today and it wouldn't eat and seems very week. I have a quarantine tank but don't want to stress it out even more I put some multivitamins in water hopefully that helps.

One more thing when the sailfin comes out I can see a light colored area it's not a hole but translucent. About the size of a pea.

I don't see anything obvious in the photo you've provided ...

Where is the "light colored area" on the fish? Can you get a photo of that? It's possible that's a bacterial infection . . .

@4FordFamily, @Big G or @HotRocks may have some insight to offer . . .

That was quick unfortunately. Sorry for your loss.

Thanks wish I knew what caused it and hope it dosen't get anymore fish but they all look healthy

sorry for your loss. Sucks when one can pinpoint a cause and get to try to do something for the fish.
