Sailfin tang?

The LFS store said a sailfin would be fine in my 75 reef. I did some reading and see that they need to be in a bigger tank. The question I have is can I keep him until he gets to big and how big is to big for my tank? I have had him for a about 6 months. He's about 6 inches with his fins out. I don't want him to stress out.

6" with fins out is probably boarder line for your 75 gallon tank. I would probably try to find someone in your area with a larger tank to re-home it.

Sailfins get enormous! My advice, don't believe a single thing from the mouths of those at that LFS....and start looking to re-home that guy.
